Management

Franz Wälder managed the company from 1987 to 2018 in the third generation. In 2018 he handed over management of the company to his son Franz Maximilian Wälder, the 4th generation.

Franz Wälder continued the fundamental values of the corporate culture: transparency, honesty, reliability, trust and sustainability. This is reflected right from the start in our dealings with each other, our dealings with customers, and also in the quality of the products. Important steps in the history of Ketten Wälder were initiated by him:

• doubling of the production area at the Bad Endorf site,
• first production of stainless-steel chains, which laid the basis for the creation of the cromox® brand, as well as
• Global launch and marketing of grade 6 stainless steel chain.

Under his leadership, many of his ideas for new products were implemented, which are now considered to be the most extensive product range for lifting loads in Europe.
