Simple installation and safety in every load direction

Our rotating eye bolts are available in various thread sizes and are designed to provide reliable hold in any load direction. When fully screwed in, the bail arm can rotate 360° and can be adjusted in any desired load direction. The bolt's locking in the ring body not only guarantees simple assembly but also reliable and durable use.

By using duplex material 1.4462 (AISI 318LN), we ensure the corrosion resistance of all components. The ring body and the screw part are 100% crack-tested, resistant to fatigue, are tested according to DIN 580, and have the quality grade 6.

With the test certificates DIN EN 795, DIN CEN/TS 16415 and DIN EN 50308, our swiveling eye bolts are also approved as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for max. 2 or max. 3 persons.

All our products are tested in our in-house Lloyd's Register certified testing laboratory. According to international standards, with up to 160 tons load capacity.

What load capacity do the swiveling eye bolts from cromox® have?

The swiveling eye bolts from cromox® come in two different variants: the CDS-05 with a load capacity of 0.5 tons and the CDS-1 with a load capacity of 1 ton. The eye bolts, which are approved as Personal Protective Equipment, are available as CDS-PSA-2 for securing 2 persons and as CDS-PSA-3 for securing 3 persons. For special designs not included in our standard program, you are welcome to contact us – our in-house design department can always respond to customer-specific requests.

What makes the swiveling eye bolts from cromox® so corrosion-resistant?

The use of duplex material 1.4462 (AISI 318LN) makes the cromox® rotating eye bolts highly corrosion-resistant and particularly durable. The high-quality, selected stainless steel has a PREN value of 35. The PREN index is a measure of the corrosion resistance of a stainless steel. Generally, the higher the PREN value, the more resistant the steel. Steels with PREN values over 32 are considered seawater resistant.

Which DIN standards do the swiveling eye bolts from cromox® meet?

The stainless steel rotating eye bolts from cromox® are tested according to DIN 580, so they can be used as load-bearing equipment for transportation e.g. on machines, engines, switch cabinets, gearboxes, etc. In addition, they have a test certificate according to DIN EN 795, DIN CEN/TS 16415 and DIN EN 50308. Thus, they are also approved as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for a maximum of 2 or 3 persons, depending on the model.
